1. Introduction and Acceptance
QuickDrop Delivery is a service operated by Quickdrop Mobility Limited ("Quickdrop Mobility," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QuickDrop's mobile applications, website, software, marketplace, delivery-booking services, tracking features, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
QuickDrop provides a technology-enabled platform through which eligible users may arrange parcel deliveries, purchase products from participating merchants, track orders, and access related services, subject to availability.
By creating an account, placing an order, requesting a delivery, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.
2. Definitions

- Sender: A person who arranges the shipment of a parcel.
- Recipient: A person designated to receive a parcel or order.
- Merchant or Vendor: A business offering products through QuickDrop.
- Rider: An individual providing delivery or collection services.
- Logistics Partner: A business or fleet operator participating in delivery fulfilment.
- Delivery: The collection, transportation, and attempted or completed handover of an item.
- Order: A request for parcel delivery or a marketplace purchase submitted through the Platform.
- Delivery Fee: The charge displayed for a delivery service.
- Service Area: A geographical area in which QuickDrop currently supports particular services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal contractual capacity in your jurisdiction, to independently register and transact on QuickDrop.
You represent that:
- You have legal capacity to accept these Terms.
- Information supplied during registration and checkout is accurate.
- You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- You are authorized to send parcels or purchase goods using the information and payment methods provided.
Businesses registering as merchants or logistics partners must have the necessary authority, permits, and approvals for their activities.
We may request reasonable verification information where necessary for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, or service delivery.
4. Account Registration and Security
Certain services require a registered account.
You agree to provide accurate and current account information and update it when necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account, except where unauthorized activity results from QuickDrop's own failure to meet applicable obligations.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
QuickDrop may offer different account roles, including customer, merchant, rider, and logistics partner. Access to professional or operational features may require additional approval.
We may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these Terms.
5. Scope of Services
QuickDrop may provide:
- Parcel pickup and delivery requests.
- Marketplace access to participating merchants.
- Order and delivery tracking.
- Order notifications and communications.
- Customer support and dispute resolution.
- Merchant, rider, and logistics partner services.
Availability may differ by location, account type, operational capacity, and service category.
Features displayed in promotional materials may not be available in every location or release of the application.
The QuickDrop website is primarily informational. Unless expressly introduced as a separate service, delivery bookings, shopping transactions, and account management take place through the mobile application.
6. Parcel Delivery Requests
When requesting a parcel delivery, you must provide accurate information, including:
- Pickup and delivery addresses.
- Sender and recipient contact details.
- Parcel description and relevant handling information.
- Any information reasonably required to complete the delivery.
A submitted request does not necessarily mean that a rider has accepted or been assigned to it.
An order becomes confirmed when QuickDrop communicates confirmation through the Platform.
We may decline, cancel, or reschedule a delivery for legitimate reasons, including inaccurate information, unavailable capacity, prohibited contents, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.
Where QuickDrop cancels a prepaid order before fulfilment, applicable refunds will be handled under Section 13.
7. Sender Responsibilities
The sender must ensure that:
- The parcel contents are lawful and permitted.
- The parcel is appropriately packaged for ordinary transportation and handling.
- The declared description is materially accurate.
- The pickup location is accessible and safe.
- The recipient is informed of the delivery where appropriate.
- Fragile, perishable, or unusually valuable contents are disclosed where the service permits them.
QuickDrop may refuse a parcel that is unsafe, improperly packaged, prohibited, or materially inconsistent with its description.
The sender is responsible for losses directly caused by inaccurate declarations or inadequate packaging to the extent permitted by law and where the loss is attributable to the sender's conduct.
8. Prohibited and Restricted Items
Unless QuickDrop expressly authorizes an item under a lawful, specialized service, users must not send:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons prohibited by law.
- Stolen, counterfeit, or unlawfully obtained goods.
- Hazardous, toxic, corrosive, or highly flammable materials.
- Human remains or biological materials requiring specialized handling.
- Live animals.
- Cash, negotiable instruments, or other high-risk valuables.
- Items whose transportation violates applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
- Any item reasonably determined to pose a material safety or security risk.
Medicines, food, batteries, liquids, fragile goods, and high-value electronics may require additional restrictions or may be unavailable for delivery.
QuickDrop may refuse or discontinue transportation where it reasonably suspects prohibited contents, subject to applicable law.
We may report suspected unlawful activity to competent authorities where legally required or permitted.
9. Pickup, Delivery, and Recipient Availability
Customers must ensure that pickup and delivery instructions are accurate and that relevant parties can be contacted.
Delivery may be affected by:
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- Recipient unavailability.
- Inaccessible buildings or locations.
- Security restrictions.
- Severe weather, traffic, or road conditions.
- Operational disruptions.
If a recipient cannot be reached, QuickDrop may attempt contact, arrange redelivery, or return the parcel to the sender, depending on operational circumstances.
Any additional charge must be reasonable and disclosed before the customer agrees to the relevant additional service, except where otherwise lawfully applicable.
Delivery completion may be supported by a status update, recipient confirmation, delivery code, signature, or other reasonable evidence.
10. Delivery Times and Tracking
Estimated pickup and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, unless a particular service expressly provides a guaranteed delivery commitment.
Tracking information may reflect status updates from riders, merchants, logistics partners, or connected systems.
Updates may occasionally be delayed because of connectivity, technical issues, or operational conditions.
QuickDrop will take reasonable steps to provide accurate delivery information and notify customers of material delays where practicable.
11. Marketplace Services
QuickDrop may enable customers to discover and purchase products offered by participating merchants.
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, lawful sale of their goods, product quality, stock information, and applicable product warranties, subject to QuickDrop's own obligations under law.
Product availability, descriptions, prices, and estimated preparation times may change before an order is confirmed.
QuickDrop may facilitate ordering, payment collection, customer support, and delivery without necessarily being the seller of every product.
The identity of the seller and the applicable commercial arrangement should be disclosed where required by law.
Customers must review order details before payment.
QuickDrop will not substitute products without the customer's authorization where the relevant service requires such authorization.
12. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Applicable charges may include:
- Delivery fees.
- Product prices.
- Clearly disclosed platform or service fees.
- Applicable taxes.
- Optional services expressly selected by the customer.
The total payable amount will be displayed before the customer confirms payment.
QuickDrop may use licensed or otherwise authorized third-party payment processors.
We do not require users to provide their payment-card PINs or online banking passwords to riders or merchants.
Payments must be made through payment methods expressly supported by the Platform.
Prices and promotions may change prospectively. Confirmed transactions will not be retroactively repriced without a lawful basis and appropriate customer agreement.
Any applicable taxes will be handled in accordance with Nigerian law.
13. Cancellations, Refunds, and Failed Orders
Customers may request cancellation through the available in-app or support channels.
Cancellation eligibility and any applicable charges depend on the order's status, costs reasonably incurred, and mandatory consumer protection requirements.
As a general principle:
- If QuickDrop cancels a prepaid service before fulfilment, the customer will ordinarily receive a refund of the amount paid for the unfulfilled service.
- If a customer cancels before a rider is assigned or work begins, a full refund will ordinarily be available unless a clearly disclosed and lawful charge applies.
- If collection, preparation, or fulfilment has already begun, reasonable and previously disclosed charges may apply where lawful.
- If an order fails because of a payment-processing error, QuickDrop will investigate and coordinate the appropriate refund or reversal.
- If goods are defective, materially misdescribed, or not supplied as agreed, applicable statutory consumer remedies remain available.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method where possible.
Applicable cancellation windows, refund processing timelines, redelivery charges, and merchant return procedures will be disclosed through the Platform before the customer confirms the relevant transaction.
Nothing in this section removes a consumer's statutory right to a refund or other remedy.
14. Lost, Damaged, or Misdelivered Parcels
Users should report missing, damaged, or incorrectly delivered items as soon as reasonably possible through QuickDrop support.
We may request:
- The order or tracking reference.
- A description of the affected item.
- Photographs or supporting documents.
- Proof of value or purchase.
- Other information reasonably necessary to investigate.
QuickDrop will investigate reports and consider available delivery records, the circumstances of collection and handover, packaging, partner conduct, and other relevant evidence.
Responsibility for loss or damage will be determined according to the facts, applicable law, and the respective obligations of the parties.
Any declared-value limits, compensation caps, exclusions, or optional parcel protection arrangements must be separately disclosed and lawfully incorporated before the relevant delivery is purchased.
QuickDrop does not exclude liability for fraud, negligence, defective performance, or other conduct where exclusion is prohibited by law.
15. Merchants and Marketplace Partners
Merchants must:
- Supply lawful, safe, and accurately described products.
- Maintain accurate pricing and availability.
- Fulfil accepted orders within agreed timeframes.
- Comply with consumer protection, tax, and product-specific laws.
- Handle customer information only for authorized purposes.
- Cooperate with legitimate complaints, refunds, and investigations.
QuickDrop may remove listings or restrict merchant access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, comply with law, or enforce platform standards.
Merchant-specific fees, settlement terms, and operational obligations may be governed by a separate merchant agreement.
16. Riders and Logistics Partners
Riders and logistics partners must comply with applicable traffic, licensing, safety, insurance, employment, and transport requirements.
They must treat customers and recipients respectfully, protect parcels from avoidable damage, and use customer information only for authorized deliveries.
QuickDrop may establish onboarding, identity verification, training, safety, and performance requirements.
The legal relationship between QuickDrop and each rider or logistics partner will depend on the relevant agreement and applicable law. These customer-facing Terms do not determine whether a particular rider is an employee or independent contractor.
Separate partner agreements may govern earnings, settlements, insurance, liability allocation, and operational standards.
17. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use QuickDrop for unlawful or fraudulent transactions.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Submit false delivery requests or misleading information.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
- Interfere with the Platform's security or availability.
- Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit platform data without authorization.
- Manipulate orders, payments, promotions, or tracking records.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Use the Platform to facilitate prohibited activities.
Violations may result in proportionate account restrictions, order cancellation, or other lawful action.
18. Promotions and Referral Offers
Promotions, discounts, and referral programmes may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, expiry dates, and usage limits.
Material restrictions will be disclosed when an offer is presented.
QuickDrop may refuse benefits obtained through fraud or abuse, subject to applicable law.
19. Intellectual Property
The QuickDrop name, logos, application design, software, graphics, text, and other original platform materials are owned by QuickDrop or its licensors.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended lawful purposes.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected materials except where permitted by law or with written authorization.
Merchants retain rights in their own legitimate trademarks and product materials while granting QuickDrop the permissions reasonably necessary to display authorized listings.
20. Third-Party Services
QuickDrop may integrate payment processors, map providers, hosting services, communications providers, analytics tools, and other third-party systems.
Those services may be subject to their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
QuickDrop remains responsible for its own obligations and will not rely on third-party arrangements to avoid liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data as described in the QuickDrop Privacy Policy.
Our processing is subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable privacy requirements.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that personal data may be processed as necessary to provide services, fulfil lawful obligations, and carry out other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
Where consent is legally required, it will be requested separately.
22. Platform Availability and Maintenance
We aim to provide reliable access to QuickDrop but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, outages, network problems, cybersecurity incidents, or other operational issues.
We may modify or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable contractual and consumer protection obligations.
23. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability arising from fraud, unlawful conduct, negligence, defective performance, or breaches of mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
Subject to those protections, QuickDrop will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of a breach by QuickDrop or otherwise recoverable under applicable law.
Any additional limitation of liability applicable to a particular delivery product must be reasonable, clearly disclosed before purchase, and legally enforceable.
This section does not prevent customers from pursuing remedies available under Nigerian law.
24. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate QuickDrop for direct losses reasonably arising from your unlawful conduct, deliberate misrepresentation, or material breach of these Terms, where you are legally responsible for those losses.
This provision does not require you to indemnify QuickDrop for its own negligence, fraud, unlawful conduct, or breach of applicable obligations.
25. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using QuickDrop at any time and request account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- Serious or repeated violations of these Terms.
- Fraud or credible security threats.
- Unlawful activity.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
- Material risks to users, riders, merchants, or the Platform.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to challenge a decision.
Termination does not automatically cancel outstanding lawful payment, refund, delivery, or dispute-resolution obligations.
26. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you experience a problem, contact:
Email: support@quickdropdelivery.com.ng
Please provide the relevant order reference and a description of the issue.
We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within reasonable periods and communicate the outcome or next steps.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party may pursue mediation, regulatory complaints, or other lawful dispute-resolution mechanisms.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or another competent authority where entitled to do so.
27. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Subject to mandatory legal rights and applicable jurisdictional rules, disputes may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
28. Changes to These Terms
QuickDrop may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security requirements, operations, or services.
Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means, such as in-app notifications, email, or notices on our website.
Where legally required, we will seek renewed acceptance before updated terms apply.
Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights or remedies.
29. Severability and Entire Agreement
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms expressly applicable to a service form the agreement governing your use of that service.
